Wishing Wells

Base

                Each well is made with a welded tubular steel frame.   The frame is 1 ¼” square and .65 steel for a solid foundation.

Rock

                We use quality made El Dorado stone properly installed with lath and backing over Hardibacker.  Choose from over 30 different styles.  Any of the Nationwide or Western profiles are available.  Perhaps choose a rock style that matches what is already in your area or yard for an authentic look.

Posts and Frame

                We build each well with quality redwood.  Each one comes with your choice of bare wood, stain or even the paint color of your choice.  If you would like a detail in the rafters just let us know.  They come standard with square cut rafters but we will cut them beveled, angled or other designs even corbels.

Roofing

                Each well comes with your chosen color of laminated composition roofing.  We can also install wood, metal, tile or other options.  Matching the well to your home’s roof makes for a very authentic look. 

Size

                The wells come in three different sizes.   Each have a different height, width,  base, and structure

            Large   

The large wells have 8 - 2’x2’ sides, they are 7 ft. tall and 70 in. wide.  They are made with 6x6 post, and 4x4 rafters.

            Medium

                The medium wells have 8 – 1 ½’ x 1 ½’ sides, they are 6 ft. tall and 52 in. wide.  They are made with 4x4 posts and 3x3 rafters.

            Small

                The small wells have 8 – 1’ x 1’ sides, they are 4 1/2 ft. tall and 40 in. wide.  They are made with 3x3 posts and 2x2 rafters.

Function

                Every well looks great around your home and there are many functions to choose from including:

         Storage

                These wells are made with a hatch type door on top to store yard items, pet food or other supplies.  They can also be used to hide pumps or other well equipment and the door on top provides access.

            Planter

                These wells are made with an open top and a planter tray in the middle to put plants on for watering.  The end result is a decorative planter for around the home.

            Dog House

                These wells are made with an arched opening on one side to provide a door for a large or small dog.  They have a solid plywood bottom.   There is nothing sharp inside to harm the dog.  Add some straw for warmth and it’s a perfect home.

            Water features

                These wells are made with a solid plywood interior and a durable waterproof liner.  Decorative rocks and lights inside or out complete the look.

Fish Pond

                                These wells are created with the plywood interior and the durable waterproof liner.  The liner is fish safe to make a perfect above ground fish pond.        

Fountain

                                These wells add a pump with various tips that spray water up above the rim of the well for soothing sounds and beautiful display.  

           Pouring Water

                                These wells include a water supply line that goes up to the bucket and pours continuously into the well and re-circulates.   

Some have asked if it is possible to use the wells for serving cold cans of their favorite beverages.   The truth is that with the basic water feature design or the trays for the planters, or both these wells would be a perfect serving center for parties.
